New Additions

I added a few helpful resources in the Links section for those of you who are interested in learning more about the subject.

All the sources explore the increasing impact of the Internet on Muslims worldwide. Many people seem to believe that the Internet has shaped how both Muslims and non-Muslims perceive Islam. Included in these links is a study based on the Arabic blogsphere. The study was conducted to learn about and analyze the networked public sphere in the Arab Middle East, and its relationship to a wide range of important issues. These issues included politics, media, religion, culture, and international affairs. Another one of the links is a radio station that interviews many different kinds of people including anything from students, television producers, to writers. The particular broadcast I linked talks about young Muslims and new media, and how YouTube, along with other forms of media, affect the culture and image of Muslims worldwide. The topic of discussion focuses on whether this image can be changed using new media and the Internet.

Take a look at the sources and post your insight and findings! Also, if anyone finds more interesting or helpful resources, feel free to post those as well!

Thanks,
Berna
